Anritsu Group, formerly known as
Anritsu Electronic Co. Ltd, has a history of 109 years. Headquartered
in Japan, its major business includes: test & measurement instruments,
information and communications, industrial automation, and electronic
devices, of which, the volume of test and measurement business accounts
for more than 50% of the annual volume of the Group.
Since it merged WILTRON in 1990, Anritsu has
successfully achieved the multi-field development from low frequency
and radio frequency to microwave and from optical fiber communication
to mobile communication. Meanwhile, Anritsu has expanded its market,
almost spreading all over the world. Anritsu has launched Ethernet
solutions and mobile test solutions in time, of which the test solutions
of 3G has been always keeping ahead. In terms of IP test, Anritsu
launched the all-purpose solutions of POS test, which is from 10M/100M
to10GE and from STM-1 to STM-64.
Anritsu started its research and investment
in 3G test in the later 1990s and most of its investments has been
used in WCDMA system. Anritsu has already owned a total set of solutions
including signaling test, radio frequency test and function test.
In Japan and other countries where 3G has been commercialized, Anritsu
has shared a big market in the WCDMA protocol. Presently, the solution
has become the actual standard of development of WCDMA mobile phone.
In 2003, Anritsu launched operator-oriented graphics protocol test
system-RTD, helping network operators complete the IOT testing of
WCDMA, which mostly concerns them. In the same year, Anritsu became
the first enterprise in the world providing solutions to test of HSDPA.
In the field of cdma2000, Anritsu owns various test instrumentations
used for R&D, production and operation too. In addition, Anritsu
started cooperating and communicating with the primary TD-SCDMA R&D
institutions of China 2 or 3 years ago. Anritsu has added corresponding
test function to some universal test instruments and will produce
a series of products including signal source and signaling analyzer
that support TD-SCDMA soon.
Anritsu's transferring to "the creator
of smart solution" built up its capacity for the contribution
to the sustainable development of network society. As a "creator
of smart solution", Anritsu will play an important role in the
creation of popular network environment and will make great contribution
to the development of communication industry of China.
